Last one of the year!

Wonder Woman by Dale Eaglesham (2010)December 31st, 2010 - So it's the last day of 2010. I totally didn't complete my New Year's Resolution from last year, though I tried. I was shooting for a 6-pack, but I gotta also work off the fat that's over the muscles. I did have some motivation earlier in the year, but then that motivation faded away, and laziness kicked in. Oh well, let's see if I can do that in 2011.

As I posted back a little over two weeks ago, I will no longer be volunteering with the Joe Shuster Awards. I've been asked, "What happened?" and "Why?"

Truthfully, I still love the awards, and there is no hatred towards anyone. I just wanted a little more free time, to focus on other areas in life.

If you celebrated it last week, I hope you all had a safe and Merry Christmas. As for me, it was nice to have the family all home, for a family dinner. The day was a very nice one. It was also a rare day, where we let our dog, Noah, run around the entire house (we usually keep him in the kitchen). It's been something that I am hoping can be a regular thing, because it'd be nice to have a dog all around the house. Probably when he is a little more trained, so he doesn't piss in my room... again.

The gifts I did receive on Christmas, a new jacket, clothes, memory foam slippers, and cash. Some of those, were also birthday gifts. And no, I wasn't screwed over with combination gifts. It was wrapped separately (or in the case of the cash, in the other hand). The cash was then converted into a new PS3 for my room (that, and an HDMI cable, were my Boxing Day purchases).

My birthday was a small thing. Just with the siblings (trying to organize a day to go out with my friends, when we can figure out a day where we're all free).

Came home from work today, to that magnificent piece (shown above). Near the end of October, there was a contest held over at Dale Eaglesham's website. Lucky me, I WON!

I got the scan of it last week, and thought it was absolutely beautiful. I got the piece in today, and it is even more beautiful in person.

Thanks to Peter Fisico, for letting me know of the contest.

Huge Thanks to Dale Eaglesham, and his lovely wife, Louise, for putting on this contest, being such sweet people! Huge Thanks to Dale, for this gorgeous piece!

That's it for me in 2010. Hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year!

Best,
- Jason Truong
